S2E25 - Jon Coker, Founding Partner @ Eka Ventures

This is it folks, the final episode of season 2. Don't despair for we are closing out this record breaking season in style. 

Helping Riding Unicorns draw the curtain on what has been a great season is a very special figure in the VC space. As one of the Founding Partners of $95m Impact VC fund Eka Ventures our guest has become one of the pioneers in ESG investments in Europe. We are of course referring to Jon Coker, former Co-Managing Partner at MMC Ventures.

The Oxford alumni sat down with James and Hector to share the story of his early life and his passion for maths and science. The trio were also able to touch upon topics such as, how VC has changed and continues to change, what makes a good VC and the concerns people have over impact investing. For this final Dinner Party Guest Game of the season Jon treated us to a fabulous sporting line-up, which included a Champions League winning manager, a former International Rugby captain and a multiple grand slam winner.
