James and Hector spoke to Andy about finding a gap in the market for meat-free alternative products as he didn’t like what he saw in his local supermarket. Shovel also talks about the epiphany that led him to explore meat-free alternatives, his approach to innovation and his prediction for what the meat-free industry will look like in ten years. Finally, they managed to run through Andy’s process of raising a round and the qualities that make him a successful founder.
